Idanim Crosses 1 Million Downloads, Sets A New Benchmark For Accessibility To Meditation & Mindfulness

29 Apr 2025

Idanim, India’s first free meditation app, has crossed a major milestone with over one million downloads. Designed for all kinds of users: from curious first-timers to seasoned meditators, Idanim offers a complete meditation experience that is simple, accessible, and holistic. The app supports users through a range of thoughtfully curated features, including daily live sessions in Hindi and English, structured programs such as Learn to Meditate and Saarthi, and over 1000+ guided meditations in Hindi & English.

It also offers Idanim Shorts, bite-sized wisdom from global spiritual leaders and exclusive conversations with renowned personalities like Swami Mukundananda, BK Shivani, Moojibaba, and Tami Simon. Guided by 14 experienced meditation teachers with a combined experience of over 200+ years, the app is built to meet & handhold users wherever they are on their mindfulness journey.

With the majority of users based in India, Idanim is now making steady inroads into global markets like the US.

“Crossing one million downloads reaffirms our belief that meditation should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford it,” said Raman Mittal, Meditation Teacher & Co-Founder of Idanim. “In a space crowded with paywalls and premium plans, Idanim stands out by offering high-quality, ad-free content completely free of charge. This milestone is not just a number, it reflects a growing trend towards mindful living. I would like to thank every person who began or deepened their meditation journey with Idanim.”

User feedback continues to be overwhelmingly positive, with Idanim maintaining a strong average rating of 4.6 on the Play Store and 4.7 on the App Store. The app has built a loyal user base by focusing on simplicity, quality, and ease of access, qualities that are often lost in commercial apps.
